South Common Community Centre and Library
Public Artwork by Dennis Lin
THE PROJECT
This suspended sculpture is a deeply community-rooted artwork made from objects donated by the people of Mississauga. Each item carries personal, cultural, or historical significance—stories of migration, memory, and identity. The final installation will take the form of a mobile constellation: objects displayed in bronze dishes, on bronze plates, under bell jars, and in cascading arrangements of bronze and acrylic fronds.
MAKE A DONATION
We are collecting meaningful objects from Mississauga residents for inclusion in the sculpture. Examples include:
-

- Beads
